「Lovely location within very short walking distance of the centre of Franschhoek. Well appointed Cottage with all amenities and back up power available during loadshedding. Very spacious and a nice verandah outside. Jo was extremely friendly and looked after us very well. 」

「We booked this house for the view and we really loved in. The street where the house is located is very calm, so every evening we feeled like we're the only ones out there. The barbecue ofcourse also made the outside place feel like home. The garden was maintained well. Inside the house we loved the space and the double bathroom. The contact with the host was really good.」

Vom Cottage sind es wenige Schritte zum wunderschönen Strand 😍 Die Wohnung selbst top ausgestattet ( mein Favorit der Gefrierkühlschrank mit vorgeschaltetem Wasserfilter für Eiswürfel und Trinkwasser) und sauber. Es gibt auch einen solar-backup im Fall von Stromausfall. Und dann noch die wunderbaren Gastgeber, die an Gastfreundlichkeit und...

Owner very nice and affable.initial communications not clear though and hard to get hold of or gainnfull understanding of property which is made up several units with shared areas. Some units far more private than others. Parking tight but ok . Area beautuful and perfect location. House needs some attentiin w new towels etc but all ok and functional. Id stay again but in different unit.」

「This was a quick stop to our Great White Diving excursion! The place was perfect, big kitchen, big fridge, big everything. The apartment has a place to good braai and heated beds when it is cold. There is a tube and shower. Hot water is great. The area is safe and nice. Few good restaurants around the area, but we preferred to eat in since it was so nice. Check in was great, there is a gated entrance where you can leave the car. Highly recommended! 」

Bedingt durch sehr laute Arbeiten an der Grundstücksaußenseite erkundigte ich mich bei der Rezeption, wie lange diese noch andauern würden. Ich wurde dreist belogen, dass dies staatliche Arbeiter seien und das Hotel keinen Einfluss darauf hätte. 「The cleaning at this property is done superficially. They need to do a deep clean as there is dirt in the corners, smell from the sheets and blanket, dust on applicances and slime in the kettle. There was a service door to the bathroom which isn't itself a problem, but I could smell cigarette smoke coming through every so often in the morning.」
