Egypt Gay friendly Vacations

This review reflects my personal experience and does not take away from the friendliness of the staff. Room, food, property was overall great. My concern is with how the additional charges were handled. I booked a deluxe twin room with a pyramid view for 3 nights, 2 adults, at $63 per night. Due to a change of plans, I traveled solo for the first two nights. The front desk staff were welcoming, but the room I received, despite being spacious, had NO windows and NO pyramid view. I accepted it, assuming the extra space compensated for the missing view. The other person on my booking arrived for the final night, along with another friend. I was then told it would cost an additional $90 to add another person for the night. I questioned this, explaining that my original rate was $63 per night for two adults and that I could also book online as it was only $53 a night for two people. I was given no explanation for why I couldn't book online or why the original rate couldn't be honored, or why it wouldn’t be a wash of the cost since I was solo the first two nights. Instead, the man first said $30, then when I questioned it, it turned to $90 and eventually $80, again without explanation. The lack of transparency and the sudden price change felt dishonest. I paid because I didn't want to waste my vacation arguing at the front desk. Between receiving a room that wasn't what I booked and this unexplained additional charge, my experience left me feeling cheated. I stayed 10/16-10/19.

The front desk staff was very helpful and friendly ( Yassar). We were there for over a week our room was never cleaned. Luckily we brought towels because we were never given fresh towels. The drivers and tour guides were very good but the hotel owner charged inflated prices. I felt like I was taken advantage of in terms being charged high prices. If I ever visit Egypt again Unfortunately I would not stay here neither will I recommend it.

I loved how spacious the apartment was as well as it having all the kitchen amenities as well as bathroom amenities you would want/need, wasn’t noisy and felt safe. I wish I had stayed for the entirety of my trip as the other hotels I stayed were not as advertised what so ever compared to the apartments.

These great people offering the accommodation and genuine service are wonderful. I would recommend for families that want a great pyramid rooftop view and functional rooms. The family room is a great deal as has a couple sleeping rooms and enough space for 5. This family owned hotel is worthy of 5 stars. They do a great job and offer personalized top quality service. It’s not the Hilton. But it’s worth the price they charge. Would stay again for sure.

Very happy with our stay, close to the pyramids and a lovely neighbourhood. The room was clean and the staff were especially helpful and kind, thank you!

Pros: 1. Staff helpful and kind 2. Hotel accommodating with late check-in and out due to flight delays 3. All meals were delicious 4.Enjoyed the balcony suite with pyramid views Cons: 1.Some items on menu were not available 2. The tub is a beautiful addition to have in the suite, but the water only gets lukewarm, not hot at all like the shower in the bathroom. After an all day safari, I wanted to soak my muscles, but could not take a bath as the water would be cold, by the time it would be filled.

Great view of the pyramids. Friendly staff. Cautions: 1- the transportation prices that the hotel offers are higher than what you find independently. 2- area surrounding the hotel is not very clean

Great location and amazing service! Very clean rooms, friendly staff, and convenient shops right around the corner. Perfect place for a relaxed stay. Will definitely return!
