"The food served at the bar was nice, the restaurant was closed during the day! However the service dad left to be desired. The kids menu has a melon starter which is basically three thin slices. That took 30min to come out. The mains had fallowed 30min after that. And by the time deserts had come out my children had given up on desert. Which I guess it’s a blessing. Don’t order food if you are in a rush, the town has far quicker options."

"Exactly the "reset" we needed We’d had a really rough week and just wanted somewhere to go and forget about everything for a bit. This stay was perfect for that. We started with Sunday lunch which was great, and then checked into our room. It was spotlessly clean, tidy, and had a really good bathroom, too. One thing that really stood out was having proper milk in the fridge for our tea and coffee—it’s such a small thing, but so much better than those little UHT pods you usually get! The staff couldn’t have been nicer, either. We were greeted for breakfast by the same lady who’d looked after us at lunch the day before, and she was so warm and welcoming both times. It’s that kind of service that makes a place feel special. Speaking of breakfast, it was excellent and definitely kept us full for the rest of the day. All in all, we had a lovely, relaxing time and it was exactly the "chill" we were looking for. We’re already looking forward to coming back when we need another break!"

"Stayed for the Southampton Marathon. Perfect location, great parking, nice room and friendly staff. The air conditioning in our room wasn't working, but this didn't spoil our trip. "

"Sadly the pool and spa were not open. I was unaware of this when I booked and I was told it was somewhere on my online booking platform if I’d scrolled right down to the bottom. The pool and spa were the main reason I booked this hotel as it was a very special treat for my partner and myself.as we have recently been through stressful times recently and needed a break."
