"Really enjoyed this place, nice to have your own kitchenette, friendly staff and lovely spacious rooms ! Only downside, not much of a sound barrier, 6am baby crying and its parents talking extremely loudly to it, not an issue since already awake but something to keep in mind. "

"What a great find! Stayed two nights at this beautiful heritage listed (1500’s) hotel and cannot fault it. From the staff to the rooms (quite small but had everything we needed and very comfortable) to the restaurant and the hotels many and varied public rooms, everything was excellent. The town is such a lovely old town with a number of sites to visit as well. We are very happy that we found this hotel. "

The location is superb, can’t fault that. Period building, really well presented, superb artwork, great décor, very French in character. "Beautiful setting in a country house right in the village of Burley. Walk past green pastures,along the driveway and you are there. Sit on the front patio and watch the deer walk by, and eat right in front of you. Two comfortable lounges, and a Bar, really nice Dining Room. Full Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner menu's. Rooms were very comfortable and clean. Tea and Expresso, complimentary water and sparkling water."

I was offered another but declined as I had already eaten the rest- I also didn’t want to risk food poisoning from raw pork."

"Great location for the town centre shopping and staff were friendly and resolved any issues quickly. On arrival the balcony to our room wasnt cleaned before we checked in, but staff quickly resolved this. The entrance to the pool could be improved as the stairs were wet, more seating or areas to hang robes could have also been provided at the pool."
