"First impression wasn’t good, kinda on the outskirts of town and looked pretty sketchy. First place I have ever seen that has a video kiosk to check in and not a physical person, that wasn’t special and should tell you all that you need to know. Appears to be remodeling some. "

"The Oakdale Inn was wonderful! My wife and I stayed overnight while visiting family in the area, and are already planning to stay at the Oakdale when we return. The facility is delightful, with sitting rooms and clean, comfortable bedrooms. The breakfast, prepared and served by the excellent innkeeper, was fantastic and sent us on our way quite full and ready for the day. We highly recommend the Oakdale Inn, and cannot wait to return! The accessibility of the library room is great, the room is clean and just as beautiful as in the pictures. "The locate was great. Granted that they are remodeling the hotel. We had some minor problems with the hot water and heater. They did give us another room with hot water and heater. Staff was great and friendly, helpful."
