"yes it is older but it was as clean as we have ever stayed. loved the view from our room and all the way around. Restaurant on site was great. hot tub was a little cloudy so needed some attention but the stay was great and we would stay again. "

"This is a well managed and cared for property. It’s an older building, but it’s cared for. It offers a great vibe and the hotel staff and cafe staff are incredibly helpful and friendly. The rooms are small, but provide you with the necessities and the beds are comfy with lots of pillows. The property is not close to any relevant beaches or attractions, but It is right of the I-5 and it has the transit train station a block away. I’d stay at the rambler again without thinking twice. "

"The property is well maintained, clean, and spacious room, with friendly staff and good coffee. However, it’s a bit noisy if the room faces the trolly street. I recommend this place as it is near and within walking distance of Little Italy, Gaslamp, and the airport. Overall, it is a nice place."
