"Port Vita Hotel is a good option for USJ being close to the Universal Station rail station. Note that the Osaka airport limo-bus stops at the USJ main gate, which is maybe a 400 yard walk away. This is OK in fine weather but less so in a downpour/typhoon season. The front desk receptionist was outstanding accommodating our requests though. The family room we had was set out well and had all the space and facilities we needed with plenty of power outlets and USB ports. Buffet breakfast was great...

"Another spotless immaculate Japanese hotel. Our only gripe was that it was a bit too regimental!! Breakfast finishes at 9 (so of course at 8.30 it is heaving!!), although there was a lovely Japanese American working in the breakfast area who gave us lots of tips. Room was great albeit no view, good size and clean. Very close to all the action (Dotombori 5 mins walk). "

"Thank you so much for everything. We got late because the transportation they were so efficient to made us feel comfortable immediately. Free noodles at night with soft beverage all day and beer. Laundry service easy and it is amazing to have massage chairs at the lobby. The size of the room decent i cannot complain my husband is 6'3" and he approved the bed, bathroom shower and toilet. Thank you guys for help us in our stop to Osaka! "

"Very near to 3 subway lines, easy to get to several major transport nodes (shinkansen, osaka station, osaka-namba stations). Near to Shinsaibashi Shopping Street (5-10 min walk) but this area is rather quiet, not noisy). Aeon Supermarket right below the hotel, good to get breakfast or supper."

"The hotel is near to ebisucho station. However, be prepared to carry luggage as the station don’t have elevator to the track. The best things are free alcohol and ramen every night and hot spring. Please be mindful that this hotel accept travel agency which can be very crowded. We had a very good sleep. Overall is a wonderful stay"

"The staff at this hotel were amazing. I observed a staff member helping a gentleman bring his suitcase into the hotel. Then the staff member went off to grab a towel to wipe it down since it was wet from the rain outside. Another staff member called a cab for us and actually walked us out under an umbrella to shield us from the rain. All of that was above and beyond my expectations. They were always courteous and smiling as well. "
