"I'm afraid Boulder Lodge is taking advantage of its impressive lake views to charge a bit more than is justified. It's the little things: tv not working (intermittent), 3 out of 5 door locks broken, hothouse temperature on 3rd floor. Parking was a minor hassle. WiFi was all but unusable (easily overcome with minor equipment additions). These are things that should be taken care of before they demand a $200+ room charge. "The so called Chalet was nasty. It was dirty and dusty. The carpet had not been vacuumed in months. The room was extremely hot and the windows did not have screens. A ton of mosquitos would come in if left open. I found spiders in the shower and in the beds. I would never stay again and don't recommend this place. I was told to check in a 6pm because of car issues the owner was having. I showed up at 6pm and the beds had not been made. What a horrible experience with two kids in tow....
