「Left around 9 AM, was gone for like 10 hours, came back and the maids hadn’t even touched my room. Fitted sheet was too small for the bed, so it kept coming off. “Comforter” was an old blanket sandwiched between 2 flat sheets. Both of my room keys quit working over the course of my 3 night stay. I’m not that picky, but this hotel was just as expensive as any other and it should be priced as the shabby, but super cheap option, you know?」

「The room met my basic requirements: safety, security, working air conditioner and TV. Motel staff were friendly however this is the first place I've ever stayed in my life where they wanted a $60 cash-only deposit (lucky I had three $20s). Then when I checked out, I had to wait because they wanted to check my room -- another first-ever. Wireless Internet was very fast ("Wi-Fi 6") and the TV had a great selection of channels.
