Staff was friendly, welcoming and accommodating, spa was nice (but on the pricier side for what you get), restaurant options and food was good. "This resort was very calm and relaxing. Exactly what I wanted. The staff was very pleasant and attentive. The breakfast bar was great. Huge shout out to Alexis, Ana, Florinda, and Javier. They greeted me every morning at breakfast and were so welcoming and attentive. Thank you! I also enjoyed how they honored the Expedia VIP status. There was a bottle of champagne in my room upon arrival with a hand-written letter. I also received a $90 credit at the gift shop. I enjoyed the activities.. Especially the spa. Cons: - My sheets were not clean when I checked in but staff immediately changed them. - Room service order was wrong twice. - The restaurants that require reservations were mediocre. - the shuttle is $30. I get car sick and concierge recommended I do a private “taxi” for $135. It is NOT a private “taxi.” It’s the shuttle bus by yourself. I would never have spent the money if they didn’t deceive me with that recommendation. Please don’t make that mistake. Just do the shuttle bus for $30. Overall, I had an amazing time. The resort is well-maintained and the staff really tries to go above and beyond. I would stay here again, I just wouldn’t get a private “taxi” again. "
