"Everything about the accommodation was excellent, especially the staff! Despite the communication struggles, they were very helpful and provided great service during my stay. The free shuttle service to the ski resort was also extremely useful as they would drive you to your desired resort and pick you up at your specified time. "We had a wonderful stay! The hotel is conveniently located just a short walk from the station. Our room was spacious, and the view overlooking the town was absolutely stunning. The outdoor hot spring was the highlight of our stay. The staff spoke English well and were incredibly friendly and helpful. They even recommended a delicious local restaurant, which we really enjoyed. Thank you for making our trip so memorable. We would definitely come back again!"

Top Yunokoya Onsen Hotel Reviews

Hotel Route Inn Numata

8/10 Good

"Great clean room and building with everything you need for a business hotel. Reasonable price with great breakfast ( free) Just little too far from Numata station. 20min walk on up hill ! Not so much of side walk to walk safely, especially at night. You have to call for a cab ride after 5pm. Morning is from 7am. Not much choice for restaurants around . Other than that great stay !"

Hotel Yuzawa Yuzawa

10/10 Excellent

"The best thing about the hotel is the Onsen! The price was also reasonable. The hotel is a little on the worn side but still in good shape. It does have a shuttle to/from the echigo-yuzawa station but their hours are limited. The last pickup is 5:30pm if you miss that you will need to hire a taxi (expensive), take a bus (also limited hours) , take the local train to the iwapara station and then a 4 min walk to the hotel (the train is about 1 per hour) or you can walk to the hotel (about 45min)"

Yukemurinoyado Yukinohana

10/10 Excellent

"A lovely Japanese style accomodation. Refreshing to see that shoes are off limits at the property and they provide good lockers for the shoes. Private baths and onsens are available for a soak after a day out to explore. Breakfast is good too though the timings of breakfast are a tad early but best way to start the day ! :)"

Livemax Resort Echigo Yuzawa

10/10 Excellent

"Position is convenient for train and restaurants. Onsen area was fabulous alternating temperature between the 2 pools each day. All the personal care items you need. Microwave on each floor is handy. There was at least 1 english speaking staff on front counter at all times. Dinner a little expensive but food was nice."

Trip7 Yuzawa Sky Onsen Hotel

8/10 Good

"Checkout staff was incredibly kind and helpful. The onsen was welcoming for foreigners and we were informed tattoos were okay too, which was an unexpected surprise. Amenities (including robe for the onsen) were provided and there were vending machines easily accessible as well. Short walk to Yuzawa Station so it was very convenient. Compared to other properties in the area, it was nice to stay in a hotel with a private bathroom for only a slight price increase from hostel-style accommodations. Would recommend!"
