Walks to Whitby and Scarborough along the cinder track just 5 mins from the door. Good wifi, good sized TV and unlike many holiday 'cottages' this one actually looked like a cottage. Quaint and full of character."

I believe this is planned at some stage. - we had the snug room on the top floor. Lovely room and big bathroom. But it had 4 velux windows and so no view. Not a major problem as we only stayed for a short 2 night break. However the real problem was at night, when heavy rain made us feel we were in a drum. So sleep deprived both nights. It is worth paying a bit more for a room on the first or second floors. Martin Hill"
