「What a gorgeous little place this was to stay. Our room was big and spacious, with great bed and shower. It’s really well located and within walking distance to everything. You’re staying at a pub so expect some noise but it didn’t bother us at all. Great staff as well. We’ll be back!」

「Was a good experience. Lovely clean room with plenty of space. Teas, coffees hot chocolate drinks, biscuits and bottled water provided in room. TV but not many channels available. However, we spent a very pleasant evening in the bar, chatting to other guests. Dining room was very nice, with table service. All the staff were very friendly and professional. 」

「There will be free ticket for whitby abbey. The building is nice and historical. Many facilities for guests to use. I like the drinking water the most. A bit difficult to find the entrance and the 199 steps to hostel is without light at night. It is a bit dangerous if you back to hostel late at night as you can't see the steps. The breakfast is very tasty and many different choices to choose.」

「I LOVED this hotel. I’m a world touring cyclist and I love quiet and remote. This hotel was FANTASTIC. Idyllic setting high above the bay. Beautiful grounds. Lovely gardens. Stunning. The hotel just had a makeover and it looks beautiful! My room overlooked the sea—clean and comfortable and a great bathtub! Breakfast was plentiful and high quality. A dreamy stop as I pedal the UK. Many, many thanks! 」

「Beautiful garden and room. The room was a good size with a large, comfy bed, great shower and fresh milk for tea and coffee. We ate dinner there, having established that there were options for a vegetarian who was also coeliac. I had a vegan but not GF wellington, which was lovely. Breakfast was also excellent, with a coeliac-friendly omelette with GF toast. It was all delicious, so thank you Ellerby Inn! The website said EV charging was available.
