「The hotel was in a great part of Edinburgh making it easy to walk places. We loved how the building fit in with old Edinburgh. The breakfast was delicious. Being able to store our luggage between checkout and when we caught the train gave us an extra half day in town. We definitely recommend to anyone planning a stay in beautiful Edinburgh, Scotland. 」

「A lovely stay at the Royal Oak for one night. Very friendly and attentive staff. They were more than happy to arrange late access to the property due to us having to return to the room late at night. Breakfast was excellent, with options for full English or kippers, plus plenty of toast, cereals, fruit, yoghurt. The car park is very small, and can't accommodate all vehicles, however there is ample parking on the road at the front of the property. The room was comfortable with clean linens....

「Very clean and comfortably hotel , great breakfast . The hotel had issue with the boiler on Friday , they called us in advance gives us opportunity to cancel or discount . We decided to stay and cold shower on red hot day was welcome . Glad we did . 」
