「A truely lovely pitstop. I was made to feel really welcome from the moment I arrived to the moment I left. Only slight downside was there was no phone signal and the wifi was sketchy, but absolutely perfect to get away from it all. Located in a beautiful area for walking/running/cycling」
「The decor was unusual and interesting. The food was excellent. Having a garden to sit in and have drinks and food outside was also good. Staff were very polite and helpful. Definitely go back and stay.」
「The hosts, Andy and Ann are very friendly and approachable and ready to sort out any issues. I enjoyed the full English breakfast every morning which was cooked to order and a self service area for tea, coffee, toast etc. Since my last visit a couple of years ago the Wi-Fi has been much improved and the small TV has been replaced with a 40" smart TV.
The grounds are always well kept.
The only downside was using Expedia for the first time. They told me my room was booked but Saltburn House...
「The Spa Hotel sits just above the gorgeous coastline with an easy path down to the seaside. It is a slightly steep hill up to the town center, but that's easily walkable. The restaurant was excellent and everyone so kind and friendly. I saw the most spectacular sunrise and sunset at the property. You can't help but fall in love with the Hotel and it's natural beauty in the seaside surroundings.」
