「We had a really enjoyable stay at Townend Farm and Julie was extremely helpful booking a meal at the Tiger Inn and also giving us information about local bus services The breakfast was a really good standard and cooked perfectly . Our only concern was that the rooms were on the second floor with steep staircases which made it difficult to carry suitcases and to access the rooms.Perhaps it might be worth pointing out on the website Thankyou Julie for a lovely stay 」

「I booked the hotel for me and my partner and when we arrived we couldn’t believe how nice the property was the photos definitely don’t do it justice. The property is in a good location with a quick walk or drive to the town, they also offer parking permits which they just leave a box in the entrance for you to take and leave £3 in for the 2 days pass, they also give you free discs to borrow that you can use around town to park for free in the Disc zones. 「I think the hotel is either new or newly run as they seem to be finding their feet. Check-in was 3pm to 4pm and when I called to say I might be around 6:30, I was told "it's only hour and a half from Manchester" and "there might not be anyone here after 5pm". It felt a bit abrupt in all honesty but when I arrived around 5:30 (Friday school holiday traffic), they were pleasant enough.
