「A staff member advised that the hotel is focused on catering to venues. A wedding was being held when we were staying. We were advised by the hotel in advance but after booking through Expedia. The best parts of the hotel are reserved for the event leaving hotel guests not part of the event to be catered for in poorer situated parts. 「The shepherds hut was very run down ,dusty skirting boards ,faded bedding and rotting door and steps the shared toilet and shower were not very clean and there was peeling paint on the walls and ceilings. The food in the pub is very good .」

「Such a welcoming property. Smelt clean and welcoming. Beautifully decorated and furnished. Very comfortable bed. We had room 2 which had a bay window plus a lovely side window with view of the sea. Light and airy room with large bathroom. Parking permit provided for street parking. Can't recommend highly enough. Thank you Dave and Emma. You have a beautiful well cared for establishment.」
