「Every time we visit La Conner we stay at The Heron Inn and Day Spa.」

「There is little soundproofing between rooms and every step can be heard from the room upstairs and next to us. We could hear every step from above and also conversations that prevented us from getting much sleep. We were also woken early by guests in the room next door who entertained guests on the porch and took chairs from our porch without regard for us in the room next to them. 「Only a quick overnight, but they took dogs. Higher priced, and much nicer than what we needed, but would go back anytime. Spent a lot of time in Friday Harbor over decades, and never knew this place was there. Off season, so hard to guess what like in high season, but excellent experience. 」

「Hotel, Room and Grounds were Amazing. No customer service or interaction from staff. Valet collected and distributed car, but never interacted or asked name, information on my stay or small talk. I had to initiate conversation to all staff. Can’t explain a WOW moment in the three days I stayed at the Lodge. 」
