「Lovely old building with smells of a proper English b&b」

「Beautiful setting and conveniently located to Tring and especially the train station which is a couple of minutes drive from the hotel. The rooms were clean and well appointed. After hours eats/snacks are not available. The only reason I left 3 stars for "well maintained" is that much of the wood trim on the exterior of the hotel is in desperate need for paint before the intricate wood trims start to rot. The grounds are magnificent. We would stay there again.」

「Fantastic location with great staff It’s a 400+ year old hotel and looks stunning, that age has it’s challenges and some internal corridors could use yet another upgrade Good pub and restaurant on site Would use again」

「Really poor service from the reception team. We were charged for the room again at check out because she didn’t speak to us before charging to a card. It wasn’t even the card used to book but one used to pay for breakfast. We were then told that she couldn’t fix it and WE had to email guest relations. 「Thanks」

「Great food, breakfast is fabulous lots of choice and actually the hot breakfast was hot which was great compared to other hotels, lovely helpful staff, huge suite, just needs brightening with some colour and touches here and there. Air con needs checking as wasn’t that cold and I am a hot person so really wanted it to be better. Shame there is no jacuzzi in the pool area and the pool is shallow both ends but I did have a lovely massage with Brenda. Overall lovely stay definitely stay again.」
