「Stayed three nights with my wife. Being very close to Wasdale, 40min drive, it is convenient for climbing Mt. Scafell Pike. Room is spacious with a splendid view. One down point is that the pub on the ground floor is sometimes, on Friday evening in particular, noisy. 」

「Great value for money. Friendly staff during check in, clean good sized room (we stayed in a small double atic window) tvs had smart tv features like netflix. The bed was very comfy and good toiletries in the en suite. Fantastic location, right on the main street of Cockermouth and free parking at the hotel. Lovely quiet stay. Would definitely stay agon.」
