We stayed at The Royal Oak this weekend. We loved it from start to finish. Room was lovely. Spacious and comfortable. We did get an upgrade which was a very lovely surprise. Breakfast was 5 star. We had dinner in the hotel one of the nights - again it was amazing. Very busy but that shows how good it is. Overall we loved it and would definitely recommend it to others. The staff were so welcoming, friendly and helpful which really adds to the experience. Our dog even got treated like royalty! Thank you for making our little break so great. We’ll definitely return!

Had a wonderful stay. This hotel is so dog friendly. The staff were amazing. Everyone is so friendly and helpful. Cant recommend this place enough. We will definitely be returning.

From the time checked in the housekeeping hosts sought to make sure we had what we needed and were comfortable. We needed to leave earlier than breakfast serving time to catch our train and the kitchen was kind enough to send us with a take away. I’d highly recommend this hotel because of their attentiveness to us personally.

Nice stay. Room was well equipped including coffee machine. Staff at breakfast were excellent, so friendly and professional. Great location in the centre of Keswick next to all the shops, restaurants and bars.

Excellent location, well presented rooms all in good style with the location, nice hotel, breakfast was good and not greasy for a full english, very very dog friendly, loved this about the place and the staff clearly all dog people. Will definitely stay again

Fantastic cosy hotel with the most wonderful staff who make you feel so relaxed and looked after. Only minor issue was the glass sliding shower door which came off its rollers.
