The hotel is in beautiful surroundings, no complaints at all about the room or the breakfast. We ate in Keswick, getting the bus there and an uber back
We had a lovely time. Your staff throughout the hotel were very friendly and very helpful. The hotel had everything and one of the best kept rooms we’ve stayed in for a long time. We will be back
As always all staff were wonderful, and our room was lovely.
A special shout out to the receptionist
Sofia who consistently goes beyond the call of duty! A wonderful asset to the hotel.
We will be back

Liked: Cleanliness
The room was clean but very small and very hot. It was so small I hit my head very hard on the bay window surround twice overnight. The staff were helpful and the food was very good.
Great Hotel with Private Free Parking near to lovely walks and close to Keswick town. Breakfast Great choice and Evening meal lovely too. Stayed in the Lodge which was Private house with two bedrooms, huge lounge with three settees. Huge shower with products. Coffee/tea in each bedroom and in the hall. Small fridge in lounge. Great for friends to join you.
I have been staying here for decades mainly because of its location. It is a truly beautiful property but unfortunately it is in desperate need of a refurbishment. Paint off the walls , worn carpets and generally in need of some TLC. On the positive side at least the people are still really accommodating , professional and friendly. Hopefully the property itself will get an update.
Absolutely fabulous. Exceeded our expectations. The hotel is nestled in the hills with surrounding mountains, woodland and a nearby waterfall. The grounds are superbly maintained. We had a view of the lake from our room (apparently the best room, room 40) so we felt blessed. Ample parking when we arrived. The whole place felt enchanting and welcoming. When we arrived, we were greeted by one of the staff (lovely Maria, there are 3 Marias that work there). Really friendly, explained everything to us and we felt right at home.
This place is literally a home away from home. Beautifully decorated with high quality furniture and the bed was extremely comfortable. The hallway up to our room smelt divine and each of the buildings of the hotel are unique and very fairy tale like.
The place has a wonderful restaurant and bar which we loved and the outdoor seating area was also beautiful. The views from the restaurant and bar and outdoor terrace were spectacular. Overlooking the mountains. And there’s a small beck just by the hotel with well looked after lawns and and flowers and vegetation. There’s a short walk to the lake from the hotel.
Outstanding. Perfect. We’ll be revisiting. Worth every penny.

good location easy to get on boat to go round Derwent water.
Breakfast good but the evening meal was poor quality just a microwave job I suspect.
Room clean with nice view of lake. but shower needed the grouting sorted out.
Staff friendly.
Beautiful hotel. Very picturesque area. Lots of places to explore and ramble. Sofia at front desk was wonderful. Breakfast was amazing. Highly recommend.
Clean room with lovely views. Spacious bathroom. Pleasant helpful staff and excellent breakfast and dining options. Parking provided so we could enjoy walking and using buses which stop nearby. Look forward to staying again 😊

The food was delicious , the staff were accommodating and the scenes were stunning.
The room we had 39 was a little tired and needed a lick of paint on the walls as there were some patchy paint bits.
Just visited the Marymount hotel. The staff are very friendly and helpful and I must say the food is first class. The hotel itself is in a magical position on the shore of Derwentwater. You can visit Keswick on the bus from outside the hotel or use the boat from the near jetty. Hopefully will be back soon.
