「Location is ideal but cleanliness is not to the standard we are used to when booking with Keswick cottages. Cobwebs in living area , dust on sofas and tables. Walls could do with painting too. None of these are huge issues just annoyances as was the fact we had to buy batteries for the central heating thermostat to maintain the heating and hot water. 「The Cottage was ideally located for lots of adventures and had a very homely feel. The Cottage has the benefit of off road parking and because there are really good amenities in Braithwaite together with the fabulous walks from the door ranging from a Wainwright to a gentle stroll around the village we didn't use the car. We particularly enjoyed the walk up Barrow and Outerside with our dog Toby. I'm sure we will be staying again.」
