「If you love long walks, great pubs within walking distance (highly recommend the White Buck btw,) awesome food, great beer and lots peace and tranquility, this cottage is perfect for you. As always (this was our 4th visit,) the cottage is absolutely spotlessly clean, well equipped with every piece kitchen equipment you need, TVs in every room with full access to Netflix / Freeview as well as games etc. for rainy days. The secure garden is perfect for dogs and of course you have the forest on...

「Wonderful little cottage, very clean and comfortable. It has everything you would need for a break away. Superb to have a huge park opposite in which to walk the dogs. Mick the property manager even left us a cake for our arrival which was very much appreciated. Would recommend」

「It is exactly as the description says. Great place for multi generational family gathering. Games room packed with toys kept 4 year old entertained as did the table tennis for the teenagers. Walking distance to shops and beach. Well equipped with plenty of everything. Highly recommend」

「The Granary is quirky and very comfortable, equipped with everything you need for a self catering stay. The garden is just wonderful and the real highlight of our stay. Rebecca is a five star host and we can’t recommend her property highly enough. With a car or bicycles, it’s in an ideal location for exploring the island. Without, the buses are frequent, convenient and inexpensive.」

「My husband and I enjoyed a 3 night break at The Snugg, Ellingham, near Ringwood. It was a very relaxing place to stay and it had been decorated and furnished to a very high standard. The bed was so comfortable and the linen and towels were of very high quality. There is a little courtyard garden where we sat out and enjoyed watching various birds visiting the feeder. We were left a very nice welcome hamper and the owners even asked us what type of pillows/duvet we would like. Great thought is...

「Excellent property, great location. Perfect for family of 4 with beautiful beaches nearby. Only improvement would be changing the check in arrangements as you have to drive into the centre of Bournemouth first and there was very parking to collect the keys before driving onto the property. Perhaps consider a key safe?」

「Anne and Ral are wonderful hosts. We were welcomed with a decadent gift of homemade cakes and a bottle of Prosecco. The location is secluded and magical- great walks from the cottages. We saw a white buck at the front gate.」

「We had such a lovely time at Acorn cottage, it was absolutely perfect in every way. Communication with Maria throughout super easy and the cottage is stunning, probably one of the most well thought out, well stocked getaways we've stayed at. We did plenty of local walks straight from the cottage and had a few stop offs on the way home in the local pub. We also visited on a pretty wintery weekend so it made the forest and the pub that little bit more festive. We would definitely return.」

「Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit hier. Das Ferienhaus war viel größer als erwartet, auch wenn einige Sachen etwas in die Jahre gekommen sind, hat es uns nicht weiter gestört. Es gibt viel zu sehen in der Umgebung, meist mit Auto, aber man kann auch schön wandern durch das Naturschutzgebiete.」

「The cottage is ideally located, only a short 5-10 minute drive to the coast and is on its own in a private part of the retreat. The enclosed garden is perfect if you have a dog with you and would be a lovely space to enjoy in the spring / summer. The kitchen had everything you could need and the bedrooms are light and airy, although little things like making sure there is salt in the salt grinder would be appreciated. Thoughts where the cottage could benefit: adding a mirror in the bedrooms...

「Home from home with fantastic grounds lots to do for all ages. Swimming pool was amazing the whole family spent hours outside and the teenagers weren't on their phones. We will be back next year hopefully」

Poor lighting in the seating area- had to use torches to read by and bathroom could do with a shaving mirror Unlikely to return as poor approach road bad for car suspension and old bones」
