"Location was great... Management was horrible! Their advertisement falsely stated that there was laundry on the property. The apartment smelled of sewage. The window ledge fell on my foot, twice. For a seven days stay, they gave me two towels. I had to go out and purchase more toilet tissue, trash bags, and paper towels. House keeping came and bought air freshner for the sewage smell and that was it. I wouldn't recommend this place to a homeless person... Absolutely horrible... "

"Booked 3 months in advance and checked in advance when requested. Arrived at the property with no communication on how to gain access. Contacted the host to be told then by text that the property had been double booked so my booking was cancelled. I was left to try and find other accommodation at short notice which was at further expense to us. I called the host to speak to them following the text to say the booking was cancelled and they refused to pick upThe way we were treated was appalling...

"It’s an older property. The rooms are small and dated but it’s perfect for a solo traveler or two people. Just a couple minute walk to Paddington station and Kensington Park. Some might find it weird that you have to leave your key at the front desk whenever you leave but it’s rather nice not having to worry about carrying your key. Rooms were quieter than I expected. I’d definitely stay here again"

"This is a beautiful hotel that is very well run. The management and staff are very friendly and helpful. It is located in a safe neighborhood near public transportation which makes it easy to get anywhere in London. I loved the terrace overlooking the garden. Breakfast was great and the other few meals we had there were also very good. This is my new favourite hotel."

The rooms need a bit of uplifting, especially on the AC front...The hot water was rarely hot, just acceptable. Nevertheless the staff was lovely. Truly. Helpful and lovely. "A Wonderful Stay at The Royal Garden Hotel, London The Royal Garden Hotel right next to Kensington Gardens and Kensington Palace, and within easy reach of Hyde Park. The hotel is very conveniently located, just a five-minute walk from High Street Kensington Station. It is also not far from central London, and the No. 9 bus stop right outside the hotel, providing a direct and convenient connection to the city centre. Our room was clean, beautifully presented and very comfortable. The bed linen and duvet were lovely, and we slept very well every night. The hotel’s Western-style buffet offered a wide variety of delicious food. All the staff were warm, friendly and helpful. We would especially like to express our heartfelt gratitude to Ryan and Frenco at the front desk. When they learned that I needed to print a contract in Chinese, they immediately went out of their way to help me, without any hesitation. We are truly grateful for their kindness and thoughtfulness. We wish them both happiness, good health and every success in life. We would also like to extend our sincere thanks to another member of the front desk team, a tall, slim lady with curly hair, whose name I unfortunately forgot to ask. We greatly appreciate her kind assistance during our stay. We absolutely loved this hotel. We stayed for 12 days, and our experience left us with many wonderful memories. If we visit London again, we will definitely choose The Royal Garden Hotel once more!"

"This is a budget hotel. If you are willing to stay at a budget place, with a shared washroom, I'd highly recommend this place because it is so close to Paddington Station, and a quick walk through Hyde Park takes you to some of the major museums and pick-up spots for many of the tours that go out of London. The staff are lovely."
