"Great location, opposite the main Atocha Train station. Cheap bus from Madrid airport to the train station. Metro outside. Dining options in the immediate vicinity. Within walking distance of museums. Reception ladies really helpful and pleasant and good English. Amazing breakfast and free (!) extras [hot and cold beverages, snacks, cookies]. Room had a balcony and was fun to people watch but it also had very effective shutters to block noise. "

"My wife and I have stayed in literally hundreds of hotels around the world, and this one -- particularly the staff (helpful at every turn, wonderfully engaging; breakfast) rank among the best ever -- if not THE best ever. Convenient, too, across from Atocha train center and the top two museums within easy walking distance. Absolutely loved it...and will return when next in Madrid."

"Hotel Praga Madrid offers a delightful stay in the heart of the city. From the moment we arrived, the staff greeted us warmly and ensured our comfort throughout our stay. The rooms were spacious, elegantly furnished, and impeccably clean. The hotel's location was convenient, with easy access to public transportation and nearby attractions. We also appreciated the delicious breakfast buffet, providing a great start to each day of exploration in Madrid. Overall, Hotel Praga Madrid exceeded our expectations, and we would gladly return for another memorable stay."

Worst stay. Delayed check-in

"Was the worst stay of the trip! They did not send the check-in instructions although we made sure to inform them about our arrival time, we even made sure that expedia/hotels.com agent call them to confirm the time. They promised to reply but they didn't. When we arrived we had to stay almost 2 hours waiting, we had to use our international phone to call and had to pay for a roaming call to get the instructions as their whatsapp chat didn't recognise the reservation number. We asked for a late check-out which is the least they could do to compensate the wasted time but they refused!! We didn't have the chance to rest well. The area is not very good and we had to pay for parking. "

Location, convenience plus!

"The hotel was located minutes from the Main train station in Madrid. We arrived at the station and went walking to the hotel in only 10 minutes. We arrived early before check in time and wait about 30 minutes until they assigned the room. Everything was very great and they even sent us a bottle of cava as a complementary...Excellent!"
