"This hotel was excellent value for money. Our room was VERY spacious relative to other places we stayed in Tokyo/Osaka etc., and the amenities were high quality. We could see mountains out of one window and Matsumoto Castle out of the other, and it was a very easy walk to the Castle and many restaurants. It was a slightly longer walk to the train station and Matsumoto Art Museum, but it would be just as easy to get a taxi (or I assume a bus!). Really lovely place with staff that were extremely lovely and helpful - e.g. we were so grateful that they filled in our luggage forwarding cards for us!"

"Outstanding stay, as always with the Onyado Nono chain. Breakfast was excellent with an great selection including some local specialties. Greatly appreciated the free "midnight ramen" and the onsen facilities. "
