Welcome to Makai, a beautiful self-contained holiday apartment located in the tranquil coastal suburb of Mount Coolum. Set within the Nirvana Luxor Resort, this stylish two-bedroom, one-bathroom retreat offers the perfect blend of relaxation and resort-style living.

Inside, you’ll find a light-filled open-plan living, kitchen and dining area, designed for comfort and connection. Step outside to your private patio, complete with an outdoor lounge and your very own plunge pool – the perfect spot to cool off or unwind in the sunshine.
Guests also enjoy access to the resort’s premium amenities, including a shared pool with sun loungers, exercise room, BBQs, and poolside dining area.

A short walk takes you to the Mount Coolum National Park trail, where a rewarding climb leads to breathtaking 360° views of the Sunshine Coast and Pacific Ocean. Or, head the other way to reach the Marcoola–Yaroomba foreshore, where pristine white sand beaches await.

Whether you’re seeking a peaceful coastal escape or a base to explore the Sunshine Coast and Hinterland, Makai invites you to relax, rejuvenate, and enjoy life “towards the ocean.”

* While we love animals, this property is unsuitable for pets.
* We have a rental agreement that needs to be signed prior to stay.
* For longer stays (more than 14 days) guests must agree to pay the cleaning cost for our cleaner to come every 14 days of your stay. This includes cleaning the property, changing over all the linen, and topping up consumables. Please don`t hesitate to contact us if you have any queries regarding this. The additional cleaning fees will be added to your booking.
* Be conscientious of our neighbours and please ensure that you leave the property neat and tidy prior to departure, including the removal of all rubbish.

Great little place, great location, walking distance to beach. Modern with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Coffee machine was a great extra and the bed super comfy.
