「The room was clean and tidy, very comfortable bed and relaxing room. The hosts were charming and very accommodating. Easy to find and access to area. Very GOOD」

「Very polite staff but the property is very tired and not well maintained with 1 room not having any soap and beds be stored in the open at the stairwell. The rooms both needed a deep hoover around the edges. Parking is also very expensive at £10 a night with no guarantee of keeping the spot if you leave. The pictures of the rooms are not representative of the rooms received 」

「部屋はダブルベッド1台とシングルベッド1台で、2人で泊まるには十分な広さでした。 スタッフはとても親切です。滞在期間中、部屋の掃除はないホテルで、使用したタオルはドアの外に置いておけば、新しいタオルを袋に入れて置いておいてくれました。 隣の部屋との壁は薄く、大きめの話し声や笑い声は聞こえて来たので、こちらも気をつけました。 Lostwithielは、小さな町ですが、バカンスで訪れる人たちもいて、とても綺麗で素敵な場所でした。」

「The staff were all incredibly cheery and helpful. The food was excellent (coleslaw to die for!). The local beer, Hicks, was a good temperature. Fantastically cheap breakfast of anything! Dogs welcome in any room. England World Cup game was televised but the supporters were put in a large TV room away from the residents.」

「Lovely night stop over,the room was clean, comfortable and had everything needed for your stay,although slightly dated it is an old property and the furnishings fitted in with the age of the property. Staff were excellent, very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was good . Good value for money. If you want a place to stay for a quick stop over and easy access for places to see in Cornwall then it’s great.」

「Quiet and clean」

「The staff was friendly and polite. Our double room was small and clean. However, the bed (room 29) was the most uncomfortable we've ever slept in. It was very soft and we could feel the springs sticking into us. We ended trying to sleep on top of the duvet. We would have asked to be moved but had travelled all day to get to Newquay and were exhausted. When reporting this to Reception the next morning we were told that all the mattresses were new!」

「An excellent two night stay at a location we hadn't visited for some years. Our dog-friendly room was really clean . Evening meals were good. Breakfast was not included though we think it is provided at other times of the year. There was however a very good cafe and shop next door that served breakfast, coffee and snacks. We will be back to both establishments in the next few months」

「The cobblestone parking was slightly challenging, and we weren’t expecting to be in a separate building from the inn, but the room was very comfortable and the large window had a great view which brightened up the space. The location was perfect, and the staff was pleasant and helpful. We appreciated that breakfast was included.」

「I don't think I've ever been made to feel so unwelcome at a hotel or B'n'B. We were using public transport. We were dropped off by taxi at 10am. Obviously we weren't expecting to check in but I've never stayed anywhere where luggage storage isn't available. The owner's immediate reaction was to tell us we check in isn't until 2. She did allow us to leave the luggage but I was taken aback at the unwelcoming attitude. We came back at 2. Owner complained that she had no details about the booking....

「Good location」

「They was no air conditioner the room was to hot at night to sleep. Was seagulls outside wake up at 5,o’clock ,so we didn’t sleep much. Staff didn’t come in to empty bins and change the towels they should of this as weather was so hot ,swimming pool was lovely as it was cold as the weather was so hot ,staff was friendly. We had a lovely time in Newquay」

「The amenities included a fridge, microwave and kettle. However, it would be best to grab your own bathroom amenities as there was only a handwash and what I believe to be a all-in-one bodywash in the shower.」

「The property is hundreds of years old, has charm etc. The staff are fantastic, rooms good size well appointed. Down side...parking an issue stairs to the rooms are steep and narrow. Thank you looking after us」
