「This hotel has a lot of character and was so cozy. The owners have done a wonderful job creating a lovely, super easy hotel experience. The diner and mercantile were very cool. Everything felt very clean and welcoming. 」
「Friendly staff, clean and large room. You can enjoy breakfast and dinner including cocktails for free! The best thing is that there is a bathtub in my room.
If I mention just one thing they could improve, that is the elevator. It makes big noise when elevator doors open and close.」

Breakfast was sufficient but not memorable. Elevators were concerning as one was broken and second squealed like it was asking for help. All in all, a top tier hotel for Cape Gerardeau, Mo.」
