"This was my 4'th time visiting the French Quarter. I didn't plan on spending much time in my hotel. Because: It's the French Quarter! However, I ended up spending a great deal more time in my hotel than I normally would have, and for all the right reasons. Everyone, from the valet who parked my car, to the receptionist, servers, bartenders, managers - unbelievable level of service. Claire (server in the Roux on Orleans restaurant) was excellent. Ken and Big T from Touchdown Jesus were amazing as well. There was also a bartender at the pool bar who kept me there for a long time because he was so engaging - I regret that I don't remember his name. I own my own bar and have been in the service industry for about 32 years and there's absolutely no one from this hotel that I wouldn't immediately hire on the spot. I hade an amazing experience. Also, I found plenty of time to experience the French Quarter. "

"For a dated hotel, it was worth the price!! The staff was the best!!! From the valet staff, to the concierge, to the front desk team, cleaning staff, and the breakfast staff…the people were GREAT!!! They made the stay worth every penny. I look forward to going back and hopefully some renovations will have been made. The hotel is due some updates and upgrades. Hopefully, the staff is and will be properly compensated for their value as to keep them on payroll. The staff goes above and beyond and those are skills that you cannot teach. "
