4/5 - Good
We stayed in Somerville because it was cheaper than staying in the city of Boston- which is where we needed to get to everyday. The trip to Boston was about 20 mins and very scenic! Somerville had many great restaurant choices.
If you're spending some time in Ward Two, Wine & Cheese Cask and Artisans Asylum are top sights worth seeing.
Even though there aren't top sights in Inner Belt, you can explore the larger area and take in top sights like TD Garden. Jump on the metro at East Somerville Station to see more of the city.
Discover Assembly Row, a smart growth development featuring retail outlets, a 12-screen cinema, and a marina. Enjoy diverse dining options like Papagayo and Earls Kitchen + Bar, and easily access the MBTA Orange Line at Assembly station.
Home to Mudflat arts center and the East Branch Library, East Somerville boasts a lively business corridor on Broadway with diverse restaurants and boutiques. Easily accessible via the Green Line Extension and multiple bus lines.
Well-liked for its coffeehouses and shopping, Prospect Hill is worth a visit. Check out the variety of things to see and do like Prospect Hill Monument and Bow Market, and jump on the metro at Gilman Square Station to get around the city.
If you're looking for some top things to see and do in Spring Hill and surrounding area, you can visit Harvard Square and Harvard Museum of Natural History.
