"My husband and I visited in celebration of his 40th birthday and we were there two nights at the beginning of December. If you love Christmas like I do, coming during the month of December means you get to see the inn decked out in all its beautiful Christmas finery! LOVED the decorations throughout the communal spaces. The tavern and restaurant on site are wonderful, and the food was DELICIOUS. The staff was nothing but welcoming and warm and the epitome of small-town charm. Everyone we met were friendly and kind. We're already talking about when we'll visit again. Only downside of our king-sized suite in the historic inn was the sink drained very slowly. I let the front-desk staff know on our way out so it could be fixed for the next guest in the space. Other than that, the suite was lovely and perfect for our stay. One last thing: so much is within walking distance from the Country Inn. Many restaurants, coffee houses, shops, the Berkeley Springs State Park and the bath houses. We walked everywhere and most places we got to in 7 minutes or less. That close in proximity."

"This is my second stay at this property. Owners have made improvements to an already wonderful cabin. Host communicates all the way through. Checked in to make sure that we have everything that we needed and things were going ok. I would highly recommend to couples that just want to get away and like seclusion. Just minutes from several attractions. We will definitely return. "

"The location was great. It was nice to look out the window in the morning and see the sun rising on the hill. We took full advantage of the hot tub and it never let us down; clean and very warm every time.It was peaceful there. We'll definitely consider staying there again. Maybe in the summer or spring sometime. Thank you very much and happy holidays."

"The cabin was cozy. We really enjoyed burning wood in the fireplace. We made sure to replenish the wood bundle for the next guests. Beds were cozy. We had everything we needed to cook meals every morning and night. "

"The hot tub was perfect temperature. The property was as advertised and shown in the pictures. Directions were great, check-in was a breeze. The weather was great so we weren’t in doors much. Home was clean and had everything we needed. The host has added a “Zero water” filter so there’s no sulfur taste that another reviewer mentioned. The wi-fi worked well during our stay. "
