I found and booked this place for my family and they absolutely loved it. There was about 11 of us and we fit perfectly fine at our cabin. We enjoyed the pool and played tennis. Definitely recommend.

We stayed in a two bedroom , supposed two jacuzzi tubs. The cabin had no toilet paper in one bathroom and the other only had a shower tub combo. The bedding was clean and fresh and so were the towels but it was very musty smell so we did use air fresheners. The lodge was very nice and so was the spa.

This is a great place to get away from the world. My wife and I stayed in a cabin as a base to hike at parks around the area. It was nice to come back and use the soak tub after hiking each day. Berkeley springs is a nice little town. They have many family owned restaurants with great food. We plan on returning to the cool font to stay in a cabin again.

I love Coolfont! It’s such a cozy place to rent a cabin with my pups. There’s only one thing I would change and that is to make the charging and electrical outlets closer to the beds. It was very difficult to charge my phone because the only working outlets were not convenient too places to rest the phone.

Nice, unique place to stay. In the woods, with our building is unlike anywhere else where we have stayed. I would stay here again. It is like being in a campsite, but staying in a hotel room. Since the buildings are not attached to any others, there is zero noise from neighbors.

The outside of the resort definitely needs some TLC, but our room was very clean. The check-in and checkout process was very easy. The price for one night of $200 was a bit expensive but overall we enjoyed Berkeley Springs.

First off, all I saw on Expedia was photos of the quaint and picturesque Alpine Lodges, which was not representative of the main hotel, a twelve room building which was across the road from all the other buildings, including the main office and restaurant. There was a washed out driveway with no parking area at that main hotel, which made things awkward when the main hotel started filling up Saturday night. The room was okay, about what you would expect from a nicer hotel chain's room. The restaurant was good, staff friendly, can't speak to speed of service as we were the only ones there. Never went to the pool or spa, never was sure where it was. No clear path to the lake, especially with the construction area. Overall, it was a place to stay in a town with not a lot to do (there's a tour of a modern castle and some shops and of course the springs), but that was what we were looking to do.

Its a wonderful place to stay. The people are friendly. The staff was great. The road is a little rough to get to the property. All in all I would give it 4.5 stars. Very quiet love the little cottages. If you are looking for a quiet little place to get away. And relax. You should give it a try.

We spent the 4th of July weekend at this resort! We had a party of 15 guests and stayed at the Eagle cabin. We were all pleasantly surprised to see how well made and divided the cabins are. Everything in our cabin was nice and clean. We had a heat wave during our stay, but the central AC in the entire house was perfect. We had a BBQ and bonfire during our stay. We also enjoyed the tennis court, basketball court, fishing in the pond and pool. Only tip I would give the resort is to have housekeeping 2-3 times a day go to clean the outside and inside of the pool. The sauna and jacuzzi were not working during our stay. The new welcome center is super clean and beautiful, so that was a great thing to see upon our arrival! I will definitely be recommending this resort to friends and family!

The pool was closed for repairs, a fact that was only shared when we checked in. That was disappointing, especially because their heating swimming facility is advertised on a big sign in town. We stayed in a room with a king bed and a sofa bed. It was large, with two bathrooms. It’s essentially two rooms, but the door between the living room and bedroom didn’t have a lock on the inside, so it doesn’t quite provide total privacy. Rooms are quiet. Overall it’s a good value, albeit with the ambience of a work-in-progress.
