"It was a group of 4 of us for my birthday. I wanted a place secluded from people and this was 100% the place! It literally had everything we needed all in one spot. Water, fishing, fire, hot tub, beautiful view, bird watching. We were lucky to not have anyone staying in the cabin directly next to the one we chose. I think that’s the only downfall with this place is that there is one other cabin only feet away from the one we stayed at. I also would have preferred two queen beds instead of one...

"We enjoyed our stay at this cosy cabin. There is a lovely view from the deck and the cabin was clean and comfortable. There is a big yard which our dogs loved! Cacapon State park is about 20 min away and has a lot of amenities including some great hikes. It is worth exploring. We liked Berkeley Springs Brewery, good beer and food about 25 min away. The road to the cabin is steep in places and in winter weather I would want AWD/4WD. We had a nice getaway and would stay here again."

It could use a more regular deep clean as the windwsills by the kids bed had old bugs, cobwebs on some decor and under the couch trundle bed was very dirty. "My jacuzzi in my room was pretty good and the Valentine’s Day dinner was great. The pool and hot tub at pool was amazing even if the hot tub didn’t seem to be fully functional. Would’ve liked the other amenities to be ready (some things seemed like under maintenance or things were being added) but I can see this resort is a great option for the area. Game room was cool too. Overall excellent. Will probably come again!"
