"Last minute reservation after riding motorcycles all day in the rain. Clean rooms, hot breakfast, and the staff was very polite and helpful.. Very motorcycle friendly. They let us park our bikes under the large awning at the front door. Will stay again if in the area"

"The one objection I have is the pet fee. It seems rather high as we left nothing for staff to have clean up because of our pet. It seems that having a credit card on file for pet damages would be fairer and reduce the actual pet fee to $25.00. Other than that, it was a great stay. I've already recommended Tru to two other people. Breakfast was great."

"The pool was closed for repairs, a fact that was only shared when we checked in. That was disappointing, especially because their heating swimming facility is advertised on a big sign in town. We stayed in a room with a king bed and a sofa bed. It was large, with two bathrooms. It’s essentially two rooms, but the door between the living room and bedroom didn’t have a lock on the inside, so it doesn’t quite provide total privacy. Rooms are quiet. Overall it’s a good value, albeit with the ambience of a work-in-progress."

"Everything was excellent except for the "heated" indoor pool. We were glad it was indoors because of bad weather but it certainly was NOT heated. It said 85 degrees on the board but it felt like 70 degrees at best. Very cold! It would have been nice if it was warmer. Other than the pool being too cold, everything else was excellent. It was very clean. Free breakfast was excellent with hot food and a really neat automatic pancake machine that made 2 pancakes in 60 seconds. Staff were very nice and it was quiet. We would definitely stay there again. Highly recommended!!"

"We drove 8 hours for the salt pool and to fish on property. Both on the listing thru vrbo as available amenities. At check in we were told the pool has been shut down for awhile for repairs and will not be available . When we asked where we could fish at we were told they drained the lakes and fishing is not available on property as of 3 months ago. At check-in the tv wasn’t working and the jet tub would not turn off. We called for maintenance and it took him 6 hours to come. He finally came at 9:45pm. If you’re looking for no amenities this cabin would be nice. It was a long drive to learn at check in the pool and fishing are not available. I would have never booked if we knew about the pool and fishing not being available. The price is only fair if it had the amenities that were listed."
