「The lobby had loiterers the entire time. The lobby smelled of stale & fresh cigarette smoke. The loiterers were loud & sleep was not possible. The vending machine is unplugged. The shower head did not work. The breakfast item was 1/2 full loaf of bread & butter in a brown paper bag near a toaster. Overall extremely poorly run establishment.」

「The area where the hotel was located was very central to walkable restaurants. Had a small town feel to it. We had a room that faced a common area courtyard on Main Street that was well lit, but there was some crazy guy screaming for quite a few hours late at night; at anybody and anyone who were sitting on the benches. 「Clean room and good breakfast」

「good location!」

「The Hot Tube was excellent!!! The indoor pool I believe was heated and big. A little outside patio area that fenced off gives privacy. Don’t forget to bring your bathing suit.」

「The water ran at a trickle in the bathroom sink. The breakfast was the worst offering in my travels probably ever. For what the room charges were I felt i paid for a Hilton and received a Motel 6.」

「great stay great owner great location」

「Great rooms and love the coffee bar!」

「This a a beautiful clean hotel. Much nicer than I thought red roofs were. Comfy beds, but best of all no carpet in the room so actually clean. Would highly recommend!」

「Modern and clean facilities. Wish breakfast was included.」

「Rustic cabin in the Afton, enjoyed the back porch and Adirondack chairs…especially for morning coffee watching a doe and 2 fawns.. Hosts were very accommodating and easy to reach…,」

「East check in.」

「The staff was very helpful . Our GPS stopped working and a staff member went on her computer to print out mapquest directions for us . On the negative side, the TV screen was blown so TV did NOT work . I reported this to staff at check in . We were not planning on watching TV so that was not a big deal . There was a used towel hanging on the back of the bathroom door , so the cleaning staff missed that one . Other than that , we were satisfied with our stay .」

「Lake nearby 」

「We didn’t receive check in instructions until minutes before our arrival after I contacted the host. Although beautifully decorated, the home is a work in progress; it is being remodeled. At the time of my booking, the property was grossly misrepresented. Highlighted in the listing was the pool and the fitness center. There wasn’t a fitness center and the proclaimed ‘top rated pool’ was in poor condition. The property was not mowed and there was old equipment and debris lying everywhere....
