"Rosann and Wylie are great hosts. The house is lovely, comfortable, with everything necessary. When a minor problem arose, they responded quickly and fixed the problem. The creek behind is beautiful with a great swimming hole and lovely trails to hike. The house is conveniently located between Sidney and Oxford, with quick access to groceries etc. Chenango County is gorgeous with lots of great museums, including the historical society and car museum, the wonderful Rogers Environmental Education Center in Sherburne with 600 acres of trails and ponds, and the Chenango County fair was a blast."

"The house was very clean and modern and overall a wonderful place to stay. You can tell that it is well kept and cared for. The property managers were wonderful and always checking in on and and responsive to any questions we had. It's an excellent choice for a rental if you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of life and RELAX!"

"Very nice property with the best views ever and cozy interior. Very clean. A great place to relax form everything and explore things around. It’s surrounded by a state forest so except for an occasional car, it’s very private. We did a bit of exploration and in addition to info provided would recommend to check out a beautiful Buddhist center within 30 min ov the house. "

"We stayed here while our son played in cooperstown This location was only a 25 min drive to all star village where our baseball games were played. We loved the open yard area where we were able to drink coffee while watching birds and deer play in the mornings all while listening to the creek. We loved that it was a quiet neighborhood. With just a very short drive to the water fall where we had a quick dip in the falls all to ourselves. The locals were so friendly and gave us inside spots to sit by a river , grocery shop. And eat. The house was so fun My kids enjoyed playing pool, playing card games. And just sitting spending time together. There were quite a few black ants that roam around that the kids didn't like but it didn't bother the adults enough to lower the rating.. we just made sure our bags were all secure so the ants didn't bother our things. The host was very attentive and responded back to us within minutes each time we contacted them. I would love to stay here again. "

"Would recommend to anyone. Our family stayed here in 2014. Upgrades on furniture since then we're great. Beds were all comfort, which is huge for us since we used them all. Three generations of us enjoyed the property, house and that fantastic view. What was our family farm (1940’s) could be seen across the valley making it extra special. Thank you to our awesome hosts. Your place allowed us to gather together for a tough weekend."
