It was a very basic clean room at a very fair price, and it suited our purpose while visiting family and attending a multi-class reunion in Otego/Oneonta perfectly.

“Property was very clean, and the staff was extremely helpful and welcoming. We spent a full week here for a Cooperstown baseball tournament, and the experience was amazing! The location beats everything—super convenient and perfect for our trip. We had a great stay and would definitely recommend this property to other baseball families coming to Cooperstown! ⚾️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

It’s a pretty basic place to stay. If you’re looking for a place with a shower, mini fridge, microwave and a decent mattress…that is this place! Parking was tight, but they do have a larger lot right near the rooms. Air conditioner worked great and there is plenty of ice available, but be mindful of the office hours where the ice is.

Many years ago Motel 88 (once known as the Oasis) was one of Oneonta's best, complete with a popular night club. The night club is long gone and the rooms seem to reflect the 1960s and 70s in decor and fixtures. Still, I found it clean and quiet. The parking lot is very spacious, and the tv channel selection is vast. A nice restaurant is across the street. Yes, it's dated. The office is also not staffed through the night, and keycards are to be dropped off in a locked mailbox before guests depart. Given Oneonta's exorbitant room rates, it is a bargain. I booked myself in by a careless mistake, but I'd gladly stay there again since I never spend much time in my room while I travel.

Had a few small issues with the room on check-in (refrigerator not working, smoke detector battery low, tv not working) but they were fixed immediately upon being brought to the attention of staff. In addition, circumstances beyond our control meant we had to stay an extra night and the front desk staff was extremely friendly, understanding, and got us setup for the extra night without having to change rooms. Would recommend this Motel to anyone on a budget that needs a place to stay in Oneonta.

Older, semi rundown property that was very clean and maintained fairly well. Drive-up style motel that can lend itself to easy in and out. It was raining and activity was at a minimum.

Not the cleanest. The room had a slight odor upon entering. Opened window when I arrived and it helped. just smelt stale. Later on when I turned on the wall heater, there was a horrible odor, but luckily it cleared up shortly. The rug definitley was dirty. When I left sunday morning, I wiped my slippers clean befor packing them and the washcloth was BLACK. Not really sure Id go back
