"The floor was filthy. There was sand everywhere. The washer and dryer need proper maintenance performed. It took several cycles to get the laundry clean and dry. "Enjoyed our stay at Emerald Isle. It’s right by the beach. Not too far from Destin. Management company was on point. There was a mixup with chair service but a quick call and it was corrected. Also the tennis net needed to be replaced and it was done really quick. Place was clean and room temp was good. Beds were comfy. Elevators wait time was not too bad but expected. We would stay there again. "

"We had a good experience at the hotel. However, for the quality expected I had a few details to mention: My room was clean and spacious, but the bathroom shower head was not working properly, and they were to place a maintenance order for the following guests to arrive. The pool area was too crowded during the day. I guess it is too small a pool for the type of crowds visiting. The beach was clean and beautiful but not because of the hotel management. The beach chairs were provided by external sources, and no additional services were made available ( drinks, food, or miscellaneous )"

"Everything was spectacular! From the moment we checked in the staff was attentive to our needs and very accommodating. The hotel is very well set up and managed, lots of great fun things to do that I have never experienced at any other hotel. All staff members were quick to respond to requests even though there was no emergency on my end. They were so willing to help and make customer's needs a priority. As disappointing as the work force is in general, the Holiday Inn hotel staff was gracious to make our experience pleasureable and perfect. From the concierge, restaurant, coffee/ice cream and all the way to housekeeping they were spot on. I look forward to booking my next visit with them!"
