"We enjoyed our stay and we were comfortable with adequate space for our family. You may check the toilet in the primary bathroom- the chain came off and had to be put back on several times. The left sink in the primary bathroom is dripping and could not be turned off completely. We could not figure out how to turn on the tv in the living room and primary bedroom. We do not typically watch tv while on vacation but we did want to watch college football. Overall we had a good stay! Thank you!!"

"Everything was clean and matched the description of the property, very comfortable accommodations for our family/extended family traveling together for a memorial service. We struggled that the kitchen was missing items such as cutting boards and washcloths. Our final day before checkout we finally discovered a sponge in the box on the counter with other cleaning products, but that was confusing to us for the majority of our stay."

"Communication for the check-in process was super easy. The condo was very accommodating and fully stocked. There was absolutely nothing that was needed. Lots of board games for the family to play and plenty of room for everything to hang out comfortably. Durango was only a 10 minute drive and Purgatory was 20 minutes. I would definitely stay here again if we were to visit Durango again."

"We seven sisters & cousins had a fantastic time at Tall Spruce House! The house was spacious, the kitchen was beautiful, & the trees and rock face across the road were inspiring. We each had our own bedroom, and though the futon bed in one of the downstairs bedrooms should probably be replaced, we were all well rested! We had no children with us, so we handled the disparities among room and bed sizes with a lottery system & found that we were all content! The outdoor dining table and hot tub were lovely. A couple of us enjoyed the pool table & all of us enjoyed the comfy reading chairs & couches. We spent lots of time at Mesa Verde National Park, on the Durango Silverton Railroad, & in the wonderful towns of Silverton & Durango. Though we could have walked to the Durango Hot Springs from Tall Spruce House, we didn’t have time this trip! We recommend the nearby Hermosa Creek Grill for breakfast!"

"Wonderful property and great hosts. Wish we could have stayed longer. Matt and Lindsey were great to deal with. Highly recommend to anyone staying in the Durango area. House was very well stocked and comfortable. Would book again for sure."

"we were only at this property in the mornings and at night, we primarily came up there to ride motorcycles. The house was as described, very nice and well equipped. The garage was very big and great for putting both our motorcycles. Adequate driveway room for two 6 x 12 aluminum utility trailers and two trucks. Best of all, the host was extremely responsive to any questions or needs we had, that’s huge! also met the neighbors and several folks walking nearby trail and everyone in the area was very nice.Thank you for a great place to stay. attached a couple of pictures taken from the balcony patio, which was very nice and relaxing."
