「If you want to experience Mesa Verde in the early morning or late afternoon or evening, the Far View Lodge is your best option for accommodations since it is the only facility within the park. The rooms are modest, but provide all the essentials including good and clean beds, excellent reading lights, a small desk, frig, coffee maker. a large picture window, and a small outdoor terrace. Staffing and training workers for seasonal work in remote National Park hotels must be a huge challenge, so...

「This was a lovely hotel with a very fun Family Suite. Our children loved the "Fort Holiday" set up that included bunkbeds, a tv, and a PS3. The food was great and the beds were comfortable.」

「The ajoining room with the interior doors was extreamly noisy. We had to call the front desk to complain, and a hour later they finally quieted down but, the people were up before 5:00 am again with barking dogs and yelling.」

「The staff were very kind and polite. The breakfast was delicious and there were facilities to play in, so I was very satisfied. There is a supermarket nearby, so it is a convenient location for shopping.」

「Staff was pleasant. Parking convenient. We got to our room late at night & very tired. Room SMALL - maybe 10x18. Could barely turn around in the bathroom. Toilet was leveled with a piece of cardboard & toilet seat was broken. Bottom sheet was soiled & blanket had food adhered to it. Luckily we had our own linens in our car. Sheer curtains were torn. Reported to hotel staff upon checkout & they stated they'd make sure clean linens were put on the bed. Would not recommend.」
