「Box Canyon was a great place to stay.」

「Liked the rustic feel. Mattress wasn’t very comfortable; too lumpy, soft. Had difficulty getting the room cool. Recommend not letting the room get so hot before someone stays. Maybe turn down temp just before they arrive.」

「Beautiful location, the rooms were clean, and the bed was comfortable. The check in desk staff was very nice. However, the one hot tub that was working was very dirty looking, we did not try it. The air conditioner was very loud and cycled often, at times disrupting sleep.」

「Perfect location to downtown Ouray while still feeling a little removed. The access to the Riverwalk allowed us to leave our car in the parking lot the entire trip. Staff were responsive and helpful, while giving us our space as well. Would stay here again.」

「It was a beautiful place! Loved our location. Close to the hot springs pools and right on the river. We could see and hear it from our rooms balcony. Slept with the window open and listened to it all night and it was awesome. There was also a trail loop that ran along the river that you could just hop on and enjoy. We walked it with our 6 year old and had a young buck come right in front of us to cross to the river for a drink. Our son was floored about it. The room was comfortable and...

「This is a great place to stay while in Ouray. Our room was clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful from check in to the end of our stay.」

「Breakfast was ok for kids, appliances needed deep cleaning. We stayed for two nights and cleaning crew didn’t go, trash piled up. Staff not too friendly, during check-in the receptionist told me not to book through Expedia because they would only get a small percentage of the total charged.」

「Train ride was late my husband could not drive across million dollar highway after dark. When I realized this I started trying to cancel one of our two nights . Started calling on Friday no answer as they were fully booked left many messages Finally made contact with them on Sunday the day we were to check in. They said to late to cancel now but would refund if they could book to someone else for that night. But again how could it get booked since they did not answer phone calls just message...

「I liked the style of the house and the decorations. I loved the concept of eating breakfast at the dinner table with other guests. My only complaint was that we did not know how to get tv stations on our nice TV. The instructions on the tv were not helpful. It was the inn keeper’s day off. We were given instructions on how to contact her if there were any problems, which we decided not to do. 」
