The General Palmer Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Great place to stay, wonderful staff help, great room really nice, clean, modern and cool. Once we parked our vehicle, we didn't touch it until the day we left. Everything is walkable, and the Gen. Palmer is right next to the train depot, a skip away and the train yard is at the back fence. We watched trains coming and going and engines lining up cars for the next days trips from the outdoor 2nd floor patio, which is huge. Walked across the parking lot to a great Italian place to eat, and also watched trains, its next-door to the depot. Loved the outside stairs, easy access to our vehicle and luggage. Buy, we'll stay again anytime. Thanks Gen. Palmer staff!"
Durango Lodge
8/10 Good
"The Lodge is located less than 2 blocks from the Train Station so definitely a plus if you’re going to ride the train! Also easily walkable to all the restaurants and shops! Most affordable hotel in the downtown area. We would rather spend our money on dining and entertainment and not a fancy hotel so it’s a great option. Breakfast was not great but there is a bakery just around the corner with great bagels and pastries!"
