"Beautiful historic hotel filled with antique furniture light fixtures and artwork. Limited staffing. Restaurant closed two days in a row. Elevator floor was never cleaned during stay. Bathroom amenities missing. Jacuzzi tub jets and filter were filthy. Limited to no maid service available during stay."

"Numerous unsupervised teenagers sprinting through the hallways and making lots of noise as late as two in the morning on a Thursday night. Staff were aware of the issue yet it persisted."

"Every staff member we interacted with was exceptional, they were update the fire alert systems and we had a little difficulty with the temp settings on the thermostat, varying between too hot and too cold, the location of the thermostat by the double doors may be the issue as we had colder than expected or normal temps..."

"The Midnight Lantern property had everything needed for a wonderful stay in San Antonio. The backyard had an amazing area to relax with our son and family after his graduation from BMT with games and two types of BBQ grill (gas and charcoal). Conveniently located between the San Antonio city center and Lackland AFB. About a 15 minute drive to base (depending on traffic) which made the early morning commute a breeze. We had zero complaints about this home, beautifully decorated per theme with a sprinkle of St. Patrick’s day holiday cheer. Special thank you to the hosts for being so accommodating and make our visit to San Antonio one to remember!"

"I have been an Embassy Suites guest for many years and have stayed many times all over the U.S. and I keep getting disappointed. For the amount of money that was asked for a nightly stay, it should have been a nicer stay for the type of property advertised. The manager's reception didn't allow for margarita's. There were no type of snacks put out. It was so cold in the lobby we had to go outside to try to keep warm. The lounge furniture outside was too dirty and dusty to even sit on. Then I woke up to ants all on the counter and crawling up the wall. The hand soap smelled awful. The carpet was frayed as well. "
