「A lovely hotel, that goes all-in with the railway theme. Although it is a pub-hotel, it has been recently refurbished, with all-electronic access, so nobody can get to the bedroom area unless they are staying there.
Half-price food in the pub on Mondays was a pleasant surprise, and the friendly - if slightly quirky - staff were a joy to interact with.
The room was comfortable, and the family room we stayed in had a separate bunk-bed area for the child, each bunk having its own...

We were impressed by the pleasantly relaxed atmosphere, the quality of the food, the variety of dining and bar areas and the comfortable, well-maintained and quiet rooms (no audible traffic noise).
