「The Annex was a peaceful location with views across the hills. It’s a convenient location for the Eden Project and the beaches around St Austell. The annex is a good base and has a home from home feel. John the host is very friendly and welcoming.」

「Location and helpful staff」

「Room was bigger than normal, clean. Staff were friendly. Breakfast was OK.」

「Very friendly, welcoming and helpful owners and staff. A great breakfast too」

「It was very great time to spend in this hotel, I strongly recommend all to stay here.」

「The room was fine (not in main pub building but in separate one) but the shower room was a bit cramped. Noise from the floor above was a problem from about 5.45 am. Early risers who walked about a lot!! Restaurant was very good with good service and good food. The breakfast was excellent. Excellent location above the historic Charlestown harbour. Overall, we greatly enjoyed our stay.」

「The room was immaculate, comfortable, and very well presented. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help. A great small hotel with a personal touch, and I would happily stay here again.」

「Lovely hotel, great staff ,wonderful food, great location for exploring Fowey , would definitely stay there again」

「Room was lovely, staff were friendly」

「This was a very comfortable stay. The area was beautiful as was the building. The staff were lovely and our bed was very comfortable for a great sleep after a long day on the road sight seeing. Thank you for your lovely accommodation - 10/10」

「Fabulous stay , will definitely be back」

「Perfect spot and lovely pub by the sea - loved it」

「This is a great place to stay, the room we booked was a family room and had a king size and two singles plus a sofa and table in the living area so lots of room. The bathroom had a bath and excellent separate shower. The staff were really friendly and the pub itself busy with great food at attractive prices. An excellent cooked breakfast was also included, all for just over £100. Next time I'm in the area, I will definitely stay here again.」

「Ancient history, located in the middle of an old fishing village. The staff helpful and friendly. The area in the bar/restaurant was quite dark. The key hole to the room was too near the door frame, making it difficult to use.」
