「Does the job really! If you need a quick night's stay before getting the ferry or tunnel then it's ideal, however be aware that some rooms have no windows and the place is a *little* rundown. Main receptionist was really nice and very helpful - I would stay again but only for short stays.」

The guy running the hotel is very friendly and if you have any issue or request you can whatsapp him rather than going to reception, which I found super convenient. I wish more hotels did that! Tip: Buy bottled water for drinking as hot water mixes in with the cold tap. 」

「Lovely olde world pub-restaurant. Excellent food, both breakfasts and evening meals.This is a real heart of the community pub, with lots going on, including a Petanque match, when we were there. Check-in at the bar was easy. The service was very friendly and excellent throughout. A well stocked bar, including a local beer, 'Gem' by name and 'Gem' by nature. The en-suite double room was clean and comfortablebut you are better off relaxing in the bars downstairs, where there was two dining lounges...

「We had such a lovely time in Deal. The hotel with its great location, excellent food and drinks. Clean rooms, although the cushions by the window seat and walls may need a repaint due to damp. The nuts at breakfast also need to be replaced. Other than that, we would definitely stay again and recommend anyone to stay. Thank you. 」
