"Large room with view over the sea and pier. Old building close as you can get to the sea so plenty of interesting differences to a modern setup creating a unique character set up. Breakfast was excellent with great view of the beach sea. No issues with parking this time of year."

"We booked the Lily Room at the Blue Pigeon for our wedding anniversary, hoping for a quiet, restorative escape after a demanding few months. Unfortunately, the stay didn't quite deliver on that promise — though it wasn't without its highlights. Arrival set an unexpected tone. We walked into what appeared to be a large, lively bottomless brunch gathering — very much a party atmosphere — and could barely hear the receptionist over the noise. For guests seeking a peaceful retreat, this was quite a jolt, and felt at odds with how the hotel presents itself. The room itself was genuinely lovely. Beautifully decorated, well-furnished, and thoughtfully put together with real attention to detail — exactly what you'd hope for at this price point, and credit where it's due. Sadly, sleep was impossible. The church directly opposite chimes on the hour, every hour, throughout the night — something we weren't forewarned about. The room also ran very hot despite no radiators being on, and opening the window only amplified the bells. By morning, having had no sleep whatsoever, we missed breakfast entirely so can’t comment on that. The Blue Pigeon clearly has the bones of something special, shows real care in its design. But the overall experience felt confused — the branding suggests a calm, boutique bolthole, while the reality on our visit was quite different. A little more consistency between the two, would consider returning! "

"It was our first time staying at the Nook in Deal.From the moment myself and my partner booked the Nook we were kept informed by the hosts which was fantastic that they did that.Once we arrived at the Nook we were shocked on how spacious it was as the hosts thought of everything that we needed.The mobile signal was very poor outside the Nook(Around the green) to get the code for the lock box but we overcome this in the end The check in process was very easy to understand especially the side entrance which makes gaining access easier.We were inspired by the kitchen drainer to the fact that we brought the same one for our home as it was fantastic.Unfortunately we did not get to use the hot tub but we saw that there were large towels for us to use if we wanted to.The heating was already on when we checked in however it did take us a few days to get used to how it all worked.Everything was supplied as you would expect and more which was fantastic to see at the Nook.We loved the review book where you could see previous reviews alongside the information book which covered everything that you needed information on.One improvement would be to have an air fryer in the Nook as there were 1 or 2 rainy days that prevented us from going out but overall a fantastic stay which we would happily stay again.Dave & LeoXx"

"We had a fabulous stay at the Coach House. From the moment we drove up to the house, we were wowed. Very spacious, beautifully decorated, all home comforts and more. Great location for all ages, country walks and minutes to the local pebble beach. Sandwich had plenty of restaurants and pubs. Lots of little shops. Deal was lovely for a day out. We will be going back for sure!"

"Fantastic cottage, modern and beautifully decorated. Very spacious and extremely warm and cosy. We arrived to find a fabulous welcome gift of fizz and delicious biscuits. The cottage is stunningly furnished with all you need and more. We had an amazing stay over new year 25/26 and enjoyed some great walks around the surrounding areas and enjoyed some great meals in the town in the various pubs and restaurants. There are also some fabulous shops to explore. We would highly recommend a stay at middle cottage and will definitely return, it’s a great base to explore Sandwich and surrounding towns."

"The apartment was spacious, elegant, relaxing, well-equipped and very convenient. The host was very responsive, helpful and communicated really well. Even though it was cold outside the living room was very warm and toasty. We had no trouble with parking right outside on the road. The bedrooms were huge and lovely to have two en-suites, with very nice toiletries provided. Although we didn’t use it as it was Winter, the patio area was private and attractive. It was easy to walk into Deal with its lovely shops, pubs and restaurants and also we were straight onto the seafront with beautiful views and walks. Overall we had a lovely stay. "
