"So - yes this is a motor lodge- BUT it has recently had renovation to at least the downstairs rooms and they did a fabulous job. The room was spotless and the people at the front desk could not have been nicer. AND here's the amazing part it, is about 100 feet from the middle of St Augustine historical center- shops, food, music, art. I hesitate to write this because I want to be able to get a room next time we go and afraid they will be booked:)"

"This was our second family trip staying at the property. Doesn't disappoint. The home is spacious and has everything you could need for your stay and the kids enjoy the large room with balcony upstairs. Our favorite thing is the location. You can easily walk to fish camp, and a short drive/walk to downtown St. Augustine. Quiet area is a bonus. Highly recommend, we will be back!"

"Loved how close it was to downtown St Augustine which is my favorite city. We normally stay at the beach but wanted something different for for 25 & 22 year old sons. They fished off shore and then we cooked the fish at the well stocked condo. Only downside was the pool was not heated and the first of March can be chilly in northern Florida. I would definitely return. "
