"The location is fantastic for an easy stroll to historic district one way, a distillery/restaurant another way, & beautiful neighborhoods along the route. The beach is about 5 miles away, simple to drive to. Casa Coquina is lovely, immaculately cared for, well equipped, & very comfortable. They even have beach chairs, umbrellas, & towels! We enjoyed our home base immensely. "

"This is not even a 2-star hotel. What was frightening was we found the toilet paper on the roll was yellow stained and had been left to soak in something dirty. We didn’t notice it right away due to the lighting in the bathroom. The thought makes me sick because we used it! The toilet tank water was turned off when we arrived, needed an adjustment in the tank linkage to work properly and stop running once the water was turned on. It was obvious this wasn’t working properly! The exhaust fan didn’t work, either. The fridge freezer was overloaded with thick ice, too. I reported the TP issue to the front desk. The desk personnel were very good. But, the nasty TP roll was left for the manager and we never heard back. I would not advise staying here—the maintenance issues and lack of concern regarding cleanliness is unacceptable."

"Perfect location…3 min walk to the beach, a few restaurants and shops. Ice cream parlor is across the street. The room was very clean and the staff was top notch. "

"We had a wonderful stay and would absolutely rent this home again. The owner was very responsive and easy to communicate with, which always makes a big difference when booking a vacation rental. My boyfriend and I traveled down to spend time with my parents, sister, and brother who live nearby, and the house worked perfectly for our family gathering. There was plenty of space for six adults to spread out comfortably, and the rooms were large and well laid out. One feature that was especially helpful for us was the ground-floor bedroom and bathroom, which made things much easier for my dad who has knee issues and doesn't do well with stairs. The outdoor space is great too. There's a fenced backyard, which was perfect since my parents travel with their dog. We also loved the Adirondack chairs and fire pit area, and the house has a pool and BBQ as well. Even though we didn't use everything during our stay, it was nice to have so many options for relaxing outside. The location is very convenient, close to downtown St. Augustine and an easy drive to the beaches. The house had everything we needed, and we ended up spending a lot of time just relaxing there, cooking, and enjoying time together as a family. We've stayed in a number of vacation rentals over the years, and this home was especially comfortable and well set up for a family stay. We would definitely return. "
