Piazza del Carmine

Beautiful hotel! We didn't realize the pool would be closed when we were there, but otherwise excellent stay.

We had a wonderful stay here. Only two nights, but the hotel was exactly what we needed!

Upon arriving at the hotel, the folks at check in were so curtious and kind! The entrance was difficult to find since the address on Expedia doesn’t line up with the actual building number. Our room was expected, but I think it bothered me the mold under the edge of the under mounted tub, as long with the shower head cap that was completely loose from the wall. And the bathroom fan either was broke or not there, so the bathroom had a bit of a moisture smell that was a bit off. The laundry service that is provided was much too expensive, €15 for a shirt to be washed.. and no laundry facility to do a small wash. The view was amazing! Loved the old school windows and how CLEAN the glass was! Hats off to room service for a great job. Bed was a smidge firm but clean clean clean. Central to the train station as well as all the beautiful sites Florence has to offer visitors like us. After viewing so many comments about how wonderful the breakfast was, we were a smidge disappointed in the hot breakfast options. They also had a side menu, but you had to pay. The staff were lovely though and kept the area SO tidy! They came moments after sitting to ask to bring coffee and tea. We loved the ambiance that they set up with music and beautiful center table place settings, REAL flowers! Would not stay again, but thank you for the amazing customer service and nice quiet morning views of the center!
