"The hotel is nice and in a good location. The room was well furnished and clean, However, the bed was placed in such a way that I could not access the window to close the blinds. The bed was also immovable which meant my window blind was 2/3 open during my sleep and indeed waking/ getting ready- not ideal! Breakfast also was little to be desired. I went down 30 mins before close but none of the items had been refreshed. It is a continental style breakfast offering (with limited options) yet when I was there I was only able to choose from toast, a tiny scrap of ham (leftovers from what I assume was once a full plate), some dried out hummus, a few other empty plates, a bowl of olives and some sliced underripe tomato. I asked one of the servers if that was 'it' and I was offered boiled eggs, so graciously I requested two soft boiled eggs... only to be presented 1 minute later with 2 completed dry, overcooked eggs (assumedly from under a heat lamp). So there was potential to be a good hotel and worth a visit, but sadly the lack of privacy in the room and the disappointing breakfast let it down."

"The hotel is perfectly situated near the underground and buses. The friendly staff and clean rooms made our stay pleasant. We stayed on the ground floor and the room was a bit warm. If you prefer a firmer mattress, that might be a downside but overall everything was great."

"Situated well. Staff ok. Room stinked really badly from the drain in the shower. I was exhausted so I shut the door, opened the window and slept. Workmen woke me up from outside, minimal sleep. Went to breakfast, good choice but had to wait in long Q 10 minutes. Tell chef boiled eggs should be put in non metal serving container then the yolks wont look green/grey. I had the single delux room, really it should be cleaning cupboard. When returning from breakfast, a man holding a toolbox came out of my room without permission from me to be there hadn't said anything so they already knew there was a problem. Very poor show. I want my money back."

"Got to the room and the air con wasn’t working. The room was 28° and unbearably hot. Informed front desk - we were told there no other rooms they could move us to (even though booking sites showed availability). They could not even provide a fan and we were told to have the window open. The window open about 2 inches! Would not offer a resolution or compensation. Luckily hotels.com offered to move hotels after over an hour on the phone with them. Would avoid at all costs especially in the summer!"

"I chose this hotel because of its location and the good reviews. I paid nearly $400 for two nights, including the additional $30 they charged me for an early check-in. I didn’t mind paying that. The room smelled strongly of dampness. It was small, although at least the bathroom seemed renovated. I barely spent any time at the hotel since I was out sightseeing most of the day. Unfortunately, I made the mistake of leaving my carry-on suitcase open on the bed with my clothes inside. Two days later, I traveled to Paris — and what a horrible surprise when I arrived. As soon as I opened my suitcase, I saw a small round insect and immediately realized it was a bed bug. I rushed to kill it. I shook out all of my clothes and ended up doing laundry at 11 PM because I was terrified there might be more. Room G10 has bed bugs. Please inspect it and call pest control immediately because this is a serious issue. Imagine arriving at your next destination and discovering this in your luggage. Honestly, I cannot recommend this hotel."
